Towards clinical applications of personalized gene regulatory network models

This project develops computational tools to study large networks of interacting genes that control cell behavior in cancer. Using Finnish and international patient data, we will examine how these networks change in different cell types within a tumor, finding links to aggressiveness and treatment response. The results could help predict how cancer develops and progresses, guide therapy choices, give patients clearer prognosis, and support personalized cancer care in Finland and beyond.
